The Lexicon Trio
The Lexicon Trio is composed of musicians who’ve dedicated their talents and time to the vast repertoire of jazz music. From swing to modern composition, this trio performs with reverence and reference to the past while allowing improvisation to change every performance. Composed of some of the best musicians in Chicago, The Lexicon Trio has performed all over the city at venues like The Waterfront Cafe, Ina Mae Tavern, and The Tack Room. Enjoy an evening of songbook ballads, bebop burners, and modern melodies with the Lexicon Trio.
Midnight Oracle
Where the original music of Spencer Schillerstrom finds its home. Founded in 2023, this group has been featured at famous Chicago venues including The Whistler, Fulton Street Collective, and Prairie Moon. Deriving his ideas from life and nature, Spencer’s compositions feature memorable melodies paired with unconventional chord changes. Taking heavy inspiration from artists like Butcher Brown, Braxton Cook, and Marquis Hill, Spencer takes this group deep into the Jazz & R&B Fusion genre.
